Fort Sask Alerts is an important communication channel that is available to all City residents. You can receive messages or alerts by phone, text or email.
Information about important City activities in your area can be provided to you by Fort Sask Alerts with updates on road closures, development applications, fire bans, bylaw changes, and more.
To encourage more of our residents to sign-up for Fort Sask Alerts, all new sign-ups starting May 1, 2022 will be eligible to win an Emergency Preparedness Kit. All current loyal subscribers are also eligible to win a separate Emergency Preparedness Kit.

- Yard waste placed out for collection in plastic bags will not be collected

- This contest is for seniors 65+ living in Fort Saskatchewan.
- Deadline to register is June 3, 2022.
- Limited supply.
- Surprise door step drop off will happen the week of June 6-10, 2022.

PUBLIC HEARING
Notice for Proposed Brownfield Tax Exemptions - Bylaw C15-22
Council will consider a bylaw under section 364.1 of the Municipal Government Act to establish tax exemptions to encourage development and redevelopment of brownfield properties in the City’s downtown core.

The Public Session for Bylaw C15-22 will take place on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. The public session will initiate at 3pm.

UTILITY BILL DUE DATES CHANGE IN MAY
Effective May 2022, the due date of your monthly utility bill will be the last day of each month.
On our monthly pre-authorized payment plan (FEPP)? No problem! Your monthly withdrawal will be on the due date as shown on your utility bill. Beginning in May, this will be on the last day of each month.
